R1 has a structural panel based construction; it’s made of 20mm thick panels. Its nature allows the use of different materials yet using the same construction system. All the panels are connected via reversible steel fasteners, allowing flat-pack shipping and transportation and extremely agile single-person assembly and disassembly.

The body is equipped with 2 drawers of different sizes for storage purposes and a retractable desk surface extension. Mobility is achieved through 4 heavy duty wheels with safety brakes.
